It's Geminid time!

Tonight is the night to observe the Geminids!

This evening I'll be taking a trip a ways out into the country for a good look at the winter sky to hopefully catch several shooting stars. Those with good skies should look to the East tonight, towards the Gemini constellation. Today is the peak time for the Geminid meteor shower, which is one of the best and most reliable of them all. Shooting stars should start showing sometime around 9 and continue well into the evening and morning. Reports last night indicated that observers were catching up to 40 Geminids per hour. Can't wait!
